Logan Heath Deyo Ramsey, 23, of Westmont, IL, formerly of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Woodridge, IL.
He was born on April 2, 2001, in Peoria, IL, to Brian and Margo Ramsey. Logan grew up in Germantown Hills and attended Metamora Township High School, where he built lasting friendships and developed his strong sense of character and leadership.
Logan was a graduate of Illinois State University, earning his Bachelor's degree in Marketing in May 2024. He excelled academically, making the Dean's List and being a member of multiple honor societies. During college, he was also a proud member of the Sigma Nu fraternity, where he built friendships that would last a lifetime.
Logan served as a Sergeant in the National Guard, leading with dedication and integrity. He carried that same strong work ethic into his role as an assistant store manager at Sherwin-Williams, where he was admired for his reliability and kindness.
Beyond his accomplishments, Logan found joy in life's simple moments--cooking for those he cared about, gathering around bonfires with friends, hiking, listening to music, working at the family business, and traveling with his friends and family. He had an effortless way of making people feel comfortable and safe, his infectious smile and warm spirit brightening every room he entered. To know Logan was to love him, and his impact on those around him will never be forgotten.
Logan is survived by his parents, Brian and Margo; his siblings, Brooke and Mason; his paternal grandmother, Donna; and his maternal grandmother, Paula. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Maddie Bowen, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles. He was deeply cherished and will be missed beyond words.
A service to celebrate Logan's life will be held at Great Oaks Community Church in Germantown Hills on Sunday, March 16, 2025. A visitation will take place at 3:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM.
