At age 22, our Baby Boy has passed away after a two year battle with two different cancers. He fought and beat Ewings Sarcoma in his face from October 2023 - January 2025, to then be diagnosed with MDS/Leukemia in March 2025 which ultimately took his life. Logan was born and raised in Solvay, NY where he grew up playing baseball and basketball and his biggest love from his childhood was hanging out with friends playing manhunt and video games. At age 15 he got his first job at Twin Trees Too and absolutely loved it and ultimately ended up as a Salesman at Camping World and was looking forward to having a career there. While he was sick, he cherished watching every NFL football game with his parents and playing online video games with his brother Shane and friends. A Son like you is rare, one that is so generous, smart and kind. A Son like you is what everyone needs. Nothing can replace a Son like you. You Always seen the good in everyone and Never Judged. Logan is survived by both his parents: Shannon Wheeler and Angela Umtead; three brothers, River Nelson, Shane Wheeler and Spencer Kimball; grandmothers, Karen Raymond and Diane Wheeler. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Richard Wheeler Sr., Derek Umstead Sr. and Donald Raymond. Donations accepted to help with expenses at Gofundme/Angela Umstead or at visitation. Family and friends may visit from 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM Tuesday September 9, 2025 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue, Solvay, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME with burial to immediately follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. A reception will be held following the funeral at Pies Guys (open to everyone) 4744 Onondaga Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13219. Please share online memories and tributes at www.bagozzitwins.com.
