Lois Bodner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Jan. 20, 2025.
Lois Bodner, 91, of Panama City went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 12/2025. She was born on December 24, 1933, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Lois was known for her unconditional love for her family and friends, a trait that defined her life. She never met a stranger. Lois loved children, which is why she enjoyed babysitting for many babies and children in our area. Now, those children are all parents or grandparents. She was a proud Military Wife and homemaker. But above all else, Lois was a woman of faith who cherished her time spent at church. She attended Bear Creek Assembly of God where she also kept the nursery for over 20-years. Her love for God, her family and her church were at the center of her life, guiding her through both joyful and challenging time. She touched the lives of many, offering support, encouragement and love to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister Elma Blake and brother Manual Pleasants.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 71 inseparable years, Richard E. Bodner; daughter, Donna Bodner (Kerry); sons, Richard Jeff Bodner (Kim) and William Jay Bodner (Teri); grandson, Brian Bodner; great grandson, Matthew Bodner.
A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at North Bay Chapel, 3733 Hwy 2321, Southport, with Pastor Tim Morrison officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, North Bay Chapel 3733 Hwy 2321 Southport, FL. 32409
