Lois Mabel Jackson Eugene, a native and resident of St. Rose, LA, transition from her earthly life, at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 86.
Daughter of the late Estelle Vinnett Jackson and Isiah Jackson. Wife of the late James 'Tony" Eugene. Mother of Stacy Eugene Brown (Anthony), Sharon Eugene and the late Stephanie Renee Eugene. Mother-in-law of the late Titus Glen Givens. Daughter-in-law of the late Mille Ann Sullivan and Ernest Eugene, Sr. Sister of Curtis Eugene (Janice) and the late Annette Eugene Cojoe, the late Charles Eugene. Sister-in-law of Beverly Eugene and the late Yvonne Brown, Florida Young, Ernestine Jones, Ernest Eugene, Jr. and Angela Eugene Charles. The guardian mother of Brad Young and Dennis Ellsworth. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family; also pastors, officers and members of Fifth African Baptist and all neighboring churches; employees of St. Charles Parish School Board and St. Charles Parish Council on Aging, Mercy Health Services, Mandeville, LA and St. Margaret Nursing Home, New Orleans, LA are invited to attend the funeral at Fifth African Baptist Church, 174 4th Street, St. Rose, LA on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gerald Vinnett, Sr., Pastor - officiating. Interment St. Rose Cemetery, St. Rose, LA. Visitation at the above-named church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
