Lois Howell Obituary
She was born March 25, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to Herb L. Kiger and Evelyn Faye (Moffitt) Kiger. She was a long-time resident of Byrdstown, moving there with Cliff and Chris around 1988. She loved birdwatching, socializing with friends and neighbors, and doting on her grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years: Clifford; parents: Evelyn and Herb; loving stepfather: Joseph F. Kennedy; (3) brothers: Michael Claffey, Daniel Barker and Herb E. Kiger; (5) sisters: Nicki (Kennedy) Hundley, Nancy (Claffey) Phillips, Carol (Claffey) Carrico, Phyllis (Kennedy) Bobbitt, and Paula (Kennedy) Irvin.
Lois is survived by (2) sons: Chris (Andrea) of Watonga, Ok, Jeff of Atlanta, GA; stepson: Mike (Kathy) of Monroe, TN; (3) grandchildren: Caleb (Kylie), Chris (Lu), Emily (Austin); (3) great-grandchildren: Vernon, Cash and Willow; siblings: Terry (Karen) Claffey of Reno, NV, Joseph W. Kennedy of Crawfordville, FL, and Janice (Gary) Dillow of Perry, FL; special friend: George Shepherd of Old Hickory, TN. In addition to several loving nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation and there are no services planned at this time.
