LOIS HOLBROOKS
Seneca – Lois Edna Kelley Holbrooks, 88, loving wife of the late Herman Holbrooks, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 18, 1937, in Oconee County, South Carolina, Lois was the daughter of the late Non and Earlie Mae Keaton Kelley. Lois retired from Torrington where she worked as an inspector. She was a dedicated member of Seneca Church of God of Prophecy. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose gentle spirit and caring heart touched everyone around her.
Lois is survived by her sons, Herman Glenn Holbrooks (Shelby J.), Randy Lane Holbrooks (Kathryn); granddaughter, Jessica Leigh Ann Holbrooks Blackwell (Brent); and great-grandchildren, Greyson Blackwell and Abi Blackwell and special nephew, Charlie Manley.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lois is preceded in death by her brothers, Wilton James Kelley, Will "Dickie" Kelley; sisters, Ruth Rhodes, and Willie Mae Tucker.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Lois' nieces, Jennifer Manley and Lisa Nalley, her sister-in-law, Mary Holbrooks, and her devoted caregiver, Sherry Roach, for their love, care, and support.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
