The world lost the most incredible, loving, and vibrant woman. Lois Plottle Krieger Dubin, 87, of Palm Beach Gardens and formerly of Scranton, passed away from pancreatic cancer on April 27th, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Leonard Krieger of 30 years in 1985, and Bernie Dubin of 25 years in 2012; her eldest son Jim Krieger in 2014; and her stepdaughter Libby Dubin in 2017.
Born in Scranton to the late Edward and Charlotte Plottle, Lois graduated from Scranton Central High School and attended Ohio State University, prior to marrying her first husband, Leonard Krieger.
Lois served as President of Hadassah, Chairwoman of the JCC, and CEO of a Top 10 promotional products company, Leshore Calgift Corporation, which was sold in 1995 to a publicly traded company. Lois was a member of the former Jewish Home, Glen Oak Country Club, and Temple Israel. Lois thoroughly enjoyed attending the Broadway Theatre League and playing bridge or canasta with her friends.
Lois will be remembered for capturing hearts and souls with her generosity and warmth towards others. She provided unconditional love to her family and the community, and always championed, supported, and encouraged others to achieve their goals and dreams. She truly put others before herself.
Lois was a world traveler. As a teenager, she made her first trip abroad with her parents and sister, Sherrymae, in the 1950's on a 9-week adventure. Lois continued her travels all over the world over the course of her life. As recently as last year, Lois traveled to Dubai, London, Paris, Normandy, and Morocco.
Surviving Lois is her sister Sherrymae Cohen of Scottsdale, AZ; children Gabrielle Hochberg of San Diego, Alan J. Krieger and his wife Sandy Saks of Playa del Rey, CA, Jill Krieger Linder and her husband James of Clarks Summit and Delray Beach, FL, Gary Krieger and his wife Carolina Nadar of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Asheville, NC. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; Laura Linder, Joshua Krieger, Danielle Hochberg, Jake Krieger, Rachel Linder, Jeremy Hochberg, Schyler Krieger, Charlotte Krieger, Ben Krieger, and AJ Krieger, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dalton Cemetery on Shoemaker Road in Dalton, PA, in the Farband Section, with services by Rabbi Dovid Saks.
Donations may be made to the Philadelphia Chapter of ALS or to Temple Israel of Scranton.

My parents were close friends with Lois and Lenny, and thought of the Krieger family as extended family. Mrs Krieger was always so special to me and I truly loved her. My deepest sympathy to alan, Jill, nancy and Gary. Please know you are in my thoughts. Sending love to all of you.

I have lost my best friend and neighbor here at Devonshire. It feels so lonely on the 2nd floor without her. The three of us (Lois, Missy and I) had such great fun and adventures in Palm Beach Gardens and beyond. She is irreplaceable.
'Til we meet again.
Rest in peace.
Marlene

My mom was the most beautiful person inside and our. She shined in our family and the memories she created we will hold in our minds and souls. I will forever love her for her generosity, deep love of family and her desire to lift up others.

My Aunt Lois was a marvelous individual, always looking to help others and bring out the best in people. We offer our deepest sympathies to her family and all who whom she came on contact with. She will be missed by many.
