Lois K. Lietzke, age 90 of Arden Hills, formerly of St. Anthony Village passed away July 30, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hannah (Larson) Anderson and sister, Marian J. Johnson. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Tom Lietzke; daughter, Sheri Lietzke; grandchildren, Brendon, Madi and Devon Nuese and her extended family. Lois was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma. She took loving care of her family. She and Tom were very active in their 3 grandchildren's life, providing love, support, cherished memories and so much more. Lois loved her cabin on Coon Lake and spent weekends creating wonderful times for everyone. She and Tom also loved skiing in Big Sky MT and spent many days on the slopes with Sheri, their grandchildren and dear friends. Lois was a science and home economist teacher in her early career. Lois was very involved in the home-ec community on both a state and national level. She volunteered at her church, St. John the Baptist in New Brighton, MN. Her sewing talents were on display in the priest's vestments, altar dressings and banners throughout the church. She was an active member of P.E.O. and an advocate for education of women. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association, Presbyterian Homes of MN or a charity of donor's choice. Memorial service 11AM Tuesday, August 6th at Johanna Shores Fellowship Hall.
