Mrs. Lois Emaline Rash Main, age 77, of Todd, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Ashe County on October 28, 1948, to the late Worth and Reba Testerman Rash.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Holmes, Rev. J.D. Walton, and Rev. Frankie Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodman Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00–2:00 PM Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Main is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glenn Main; two sons, Randy Main (Samantha) of Creston and Jimmy Main of Todd; one daughter, Audrey Main (Tom Winebarger) of Todd; one brother, Dwight Rash of Jefferson; three sisters, Charlotte Phillips of Glendale Springs, Ardna Rash of Boone, and Sandi Baker (Todd) of Greenville, NC; three grandchildren, Christopher Main (Lelah) of Todd, Lindsay Greer of Boone and Emily Farmer, of Todd; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Main and Athelstan Main. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Main; and two brothers, Cody Rash and Otis Rash.
Mrs. Main retired from Appalachian State University, where she worked in the housekeeping department. She was a devoted member of Valley Home Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and once made a canopy for President Jimmy Carter's bed. She loved the Lord, her family, and her friends deeply.
Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
