Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 4pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with David Higgins officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Robert Bickford was born on February 10, 1965, in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, to the late Robert and Beverly Wilkinson Bickford. Known for his easygoing nature, he had a deep passion for racing and spent several years working as a mechanic at Ashe County Motors and Randy Marion Chevrolet.
Robert is survived by his wife; Ann Finn Bickford, two sons; Jason Bickford (Angela) of West Jefferson, Robert Bickford, III of Crumpler, one daughter; Ashley Thompson (Hunter) of Crumpler, one brother; Daniel Bickford (Debra) of Attleboro, MA, two nieces; Samantha and Elizabeth Bickford both of Attleboro, MA, and four grandchildren; Skylar Bickford, Aubree Bickford, Douglas Thompson, Jace Bickford and beloved mother and family friend, Ashley Bare.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
