Lois (Minninger) Misanko, was born on January 18, 1934, in Akron. She peacefully passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on August 12, 2023.
In her early years, Lois met the love of her life, James Misanko. Lois' dedication to her family was unparalleled, she enjoyed being a full-time housewife.
Lois was preceded in death by her sons David and William; siblings Robert, Ralph, Betty, and Joanne. She is survived by her husband of 69 years James, sister Norma Adkins, son and daughter-in-law James (Sharon) Misanko, grandsons Eric (Angela) and Matthew (Erin) Misanko and 3 great grandchildren Jocelyn, Adele and Maxwell.
Lois was known for love and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The arrival of Jocelyn, Adele and Maxwell brought immense happiness into Lois' life. She embraced each great-grandchild with unconditional love.
Family gatherings were always special occasions for Lois. She was known for her cooking including potato salad and cabbage rolls. She always took care of her family before herself. The Misanko household will forever hold cherished moments of laughter, love, and joy.

Jim, Sharon, Jimmie and family, we are sad to hear but cherish all the wonderful memories, dancing polkas together while enjoying a draft. Be comforted knowing Judy and Mike gave her a huge welcome at the pearly gates. Sympathy and hugs to you all.

I lived next door for about 10 years and I remember Lois with her smile and kind heart. I pray that the whole Misanko family may find comfort and peace in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
