7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure

in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be

called children of God. Matthew 5: 7-9

Lois Annabelle Seeger, 90, sleeping peacefully, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, beginning her eternal life in Heaven on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 6:31 am, in the home that was shared by her late husband of 62 years, Carl H. Seeger.

Born on November 16, 1934, in their Starling Street home on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. Lois was the 8th of 9 children born to James Benjamin Rutledge Thompson and Lenna Luella Coy. Since a very young age, Lois has been a devoted Christian. It is only by God's grace that she survived eye cancer in 1948 at the age of 13. Shortly thereafter, she met and married Carl, the love of her life. They wed in 1954 and started their family. Lois was a true matriarch. Her dedication to their family was unwavering. She devoted her life to nurturing and raising their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved deeply and purely. She led by example and was always a haven of prayer, support, comfort, and guidance. Lois is known by all for her loving and kind nature, always embodying selflessness and compassion. She often volunteered and was involved in the school PTA, was a Girl Scout leader, for 18 years assisted in running the concession stand for the Big Walnut Athletic Boosters and numerous charitable organizations.

She is preceded in death by her devoted Husband, Carl H. Seeger; Parents, James and Lenna; Sisters, Genese and Yvonne; and Brothers, Rutledge, Utridge, Hubert, Glenn, Eugene, and Ralph; Brothers-in-Law, Charles, Jack, Raymond, and Paul; Sisters-in-Law, Edith and Toy; and Granddaughter Linda Clevenger Perry.

Lois' legacy and memories will eternally be cherished by her 5 Daughters, 1 Daughter-in-Law and 4 Sons-in Law. Deanna Seeger (Robert Carter), Donna (Paul) Clevenger, Carla (Terry) Kamberling, Nora (Elsie) Seeger West, Marla Seeger (Michael Stein), and Bonus of the Heart Daughter Patty Anderson. Grandchildren, Sondra (Jerome) Tucker of Florida, Nathan (Stephanie) Seeger, Patrick (Sarah) Seeger Stein, Nicholas Seeger Stein, Brandon Clevenger, Victoria Seeger Stein, Issac Bungard, Alex (Kelli) West, Angel (Bill) Wilson. Great-Grandchildren, Dalea Kamberling (Anthony Agerton), and Alexa Tucker of Florida, Nathan Seeger Jr, Cecelia Seeger, Margaret West, Kaitlynn West, Lillian Seeger Stein, Penelope Seeger Stein, Evangeline Seeger Stein. 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Calvin and Boe Agerton of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Please join the family immediately afterwards for a light lunch back at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bridge Church of Sunbury's Elders Fund, which supports the church and local area families in need.

6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my

departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have

kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which

the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me,

but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8
