Martha Jane Marcom, 75 of Sunbury, and formerly of New Albany, passed peacefully, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Countryview of Sunbury surrounded by her loved ones.

Born February 8, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio the only daughter of the late William & Sylvia (Abbuhl) Henry. Martha graduated from New Albany High School, and furthered her education at nursing school, becoming a licensed nurse.

Martha was a true caregiver through and through, from nursing in private practices & nursing homes to every member of her family. She cared for everybody.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Tracy Marcom and Kelly Ross; grandchildren Riley & Macy Ross; significant other Fred Williamson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years Frank Marcom, son Troy David Marcom in 2022, her four brothers Robert, Charles, Richard, and John Henry, and niece Carla Henry.

Martha enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening; and loved bright vibrant colors. She enjoyed watching sports including the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered as that loving, strong, and selfless individual that she was.

Friends and family may call from Noon until 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Home, DeVore Chapel, 637 State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074, where Funeral Celebrant Tom Dea'therage will officiate a memorial service celebrating the significance of Martha's life at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sunbury Memorial Park in Sunbury.
