Debra Marcom Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Falls Funeral Home & Cremation Center - Wichita Falls on Jan. 10, 2026.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Marcom, who died at the age of 70. She was a beloved figure in the community, known for her warm heart, impeccable style, and the extraordinary ease with which she connected with everyone she met.

Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Debra Marcom cultivated a life defined by grace and genuine kindness. She possessed a unique radiance that drew people in, never meeting a stranger – only friends she hadn't introduced herself to. Her conversations were effortless, her interest in others genuine, and she made everyone in her presence feel valued and seen.

A true lady in every sense, she took pride in her appearance, always choosing to dress with elegance and care, a reflection of the dignity she carried within. Her perfectly coiffed hair, polished nails, and classic attire were her signature, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred, Dixon; her father Basil Dixon; son, Christopher Schlabs; daughter Ashley, Marcom, sisters, Kathy Caskey, Lynda Green, Laura Freeman, Victoria, King, and Bobby Jerry Dixon.

Debra is survived by her adoring husband, Lloyd D. Marcom; numerous nieces and nephews, Kacie and Philip Smith from Odessa, Texas, Crystal and Rocky Jennings from Randlett Oklahoma, Kimberly and Brent Parish from Electra, Texas, Cody, Stonecipher and kids from Wichita Falls Texas, Donna Green and Jay Fry from, Wichita Falls, Texas, Max Green from, Wichita Falls, Texas, Terrie Lynn and Earnest Lindy, Lyndon Anastopolis from, Wichita Falls, Texas, Rhond and David Snyder from Seymour, Texas; as well as a wide circle of friends and family.

Her legacy of kindness, the warmth of her smile, and her elegant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
