Carolyn Skeen, age 86, of Westerville, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, the same day on what would have been her husbands 86th birthday. A lifelong resident of Ohio, Sue was born on June 8, 1939, to the late Leslie and Pauline (Perkins) Mason. She was a 1958 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, where she served as class president. Sue retired from Westerville City Schools in 2004 and was an avid Buckeyes fan who devoted her life to her family.
In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, David Sr., and her sister Karen. She is survived by her brother David Mason; sons David Jr. (Robin) Skeen and Don Skeen; daughter Susan Skeen; grandchildren Sarah Skeen, Dan Skeen (Christina Conover), and Jessie (Russell) Cooper; great grandsons Jason Skeen and Dylan Cooper; three beloved cats and numerous extended family and friends.
Service will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 6pm with visitation from 4pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sues name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
