Lois Marie Stracener

Lois Marie Stracener of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was born on July 25, 1947, in Iola, Kansas, to Byrd Bailey and Wilma Osborn Bailey.
Lois is survived by her children, Josh Cossey and Erik Wolf, granddaughters; Lindsey Cossey and Kaylee Cossey, step-grandchildren; Ashley Hughes (Dakota), Austin Sowell, Caitlin Sowell, Colby Sowell, Jordan Cossey, and Twyla Wolf, great-grandchildren; Kensey Pruitt and Waylon Hughes, and siblings Linda Alley of Meade, Kansas, Brenda Garlow of Maize, Kansas, Sheila Adams of Anthony, Kansas, and Lyla Moreno of Maize, Kansas. Her parents, Byrd Bailey and Wilma Osborn Bailey, preceded her in death.
Lois loved to cook, especially baking. She worked for many years as a deli manager, creating beautiful cakes for all types of special occasions that brought joy to those celebrating. Sewing and crocheting were also some of Lois's favorite pastimes. However, nothing could compare to the joy she experienced while spending time with her family and, of course, her companion dog, Nacho.
Throughout her life, Lois held Jesus close to her heart, dedicating herself to serving the Lord with unwavering faith. Her devotion was evident in every aspect of her life, as she tirelessly worked to embody the teachings of Christ. Her days were filled with acts of kindness, compassion, and selflessness, always putting others before herself. Among her most cherished roles was that of a grandmother. She took great joy in teaching her granddaughters about Jesus' love and the boundless grace and mercy that He offers, imparting wisdom to guide them throughout their lives.
Lois Marie Stracener will be remembered for her dedication to the Lord, love for her family, creativity, and her generous spirit. She touched many lives, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
