Lois Strickland Obituary
Funeral services for Lois Frances Jones Strickland will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, from the Columbia chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Tullos, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Lois Strickland was born on May 13, 1928, at Urania, LA and passed from this life on June 29, 2023, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband, Henry Strickland. She was an active member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church for many years then later in life attended Old Bethel Baptist Church, where she loved her church and church family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Timothy Strickland and Chris Strickland and wife, Alvina; three grandchildren: Noah, Christopher and Henry.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Strickland, Timothy Strickland, Charles Meredith and Noah Biesenbach Strickland.
