Lois Vaclavik, age 61, of Wharton, Texas, passed away on December 4, 2025, in a Houston hospital. Born on October 5, 1964, in Pecos, Texas, to the late Charlie Watson and Juanita Dean Watson.
Lois was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her warmth, creativity, and love for family. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, often engaging in crafts and sewing projects. A lover of storytelling and imagination, Lois had a special fondness for fantasy movies, which often brought her joy and laughter.
Lois is survived by her devoted husband, David Vaclavik of Wharton; her two sons, Ryan Vaclavik and Raymond Vaclavik and wife, Monique Vaclavik of Wharton; and her cherished grandchildren, Shaun and Max Vaclavik, Candace Lee, Ella Vaclavik, Grayson Vaclavik, Everleigh Vaclavik, Ava Vaclavik, Caleb Montalvo, Joshua Montalvo, Joseph Montalvo, and great grandchild Caleb jr. She is also survived by her sisters, Theresa Romo, and husband, Paul; and Lydia Robinson and husband, Dave; brothers, Conde Watson and wife, Kelli and Kevin Watson. Along with multiple nieces, nephews and close friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on December 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Wharton Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor and remember the remarkable life of Lois Vaclavik.
