Valarie Ann Moreno, beloved daughter and friend, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2025, at the age of 39 in Hallettsville, Texas. Born on October 6, 1986, in Galveston, Texas, to parents Vidal Moreno and Mary Helen Lopez Moreno.
Valarie embraced life with a vibrant spirit and had a heart full of love for those around her. Valarie was a devoted caretaker, known for her selflessness and her unwavering dedication to helping others. Her kind heart and nurturing nature earned her the affectionate nickname "Sassy Pants," reflecting her lively personality and warm sense of humor. Valarie's time was often filled with joy, whether she was putting on makeup, indulging in a shopping spree, coloring intricate designs, or baking delicious treats.
Her cherished French Bulldog, Frost, was a constant source of companionship and joy, symbolizing her love for all creatures great and small. Valarie's servant’s heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Valarie is survived by her loving parents, Vidal and Mary Moreno of Hallettsville, sisters, Jessica Lynn Bradley and husband, Jody of Lake Jackson and Misty Nicole Gammell and husband, Richard of Bay City; nephews, Tristin Bradley, Zealand Bradley and Vidal Bradley; aunts, Susie Lopez (Carlos), Mary Lou Franks and husband, Bryan, Irma Gonzales and husband Pete; uncles, Carlos Moreno and wife, Diana, Andy Moreno and wife, Brenda, and Hector Moreno and wife, Delinda, Edward Lopez Jr.; and her cousin and best friend, Brittany Lopez. Along with numerous other family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Steven San Miguel, Jerrick Garcia, Jorrdin Garcia, Mark Moreno, Chuck Moreno and Jeremy Lopez.
To honor Valarie’s life, a visitation will be held at Wharton Funeral Home on Sunday, November 30, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral service will follow on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton, Tx.Rest in peace, Valarie Ann Moreno; you will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
