Lois York Obituary

Lois was born October 28, 1936, in Flint, to the late Olger and Clella (Harris) Crane. She attended Beecher High School and was a wonderful stay-at-home mother for much of her life. On October 27, 1956, Lois married her best friend, Devern York, and together they shared 63 years of marriage. Devern preceded her in death on May 4, 2019. Lois enjoyed baking and gardening. She loved traveling to Tawas where she and Devern lived for several years, and she always looked forward to playing card games with her sisters. Lois was a wonderful woman who can never be replaced, and she will be missed by those who knew her.
Lois is forever remembered by: Children: Robert (Dina) York, Michael (Tammy) York, and Patricia "Tricia" (Chris) Jones; Many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; Sisters: Deanna (Dave) Harden, Ruthann (Eugene) Vickerman, and Carol Horvath; Special lifelong friend, Shirley (Del) Berry; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Lois was preceded in death by: Husband, Devern York; Beloved Son, Steven York; Parents, Olger and Clella; Brothers: Maurice Crane, Daune Crane, Robert Crane, Larry Crane, Johnny Crane, and Danny Crane; Baby Sister, Joyce Crane.
