Lola Lodrigue, 72, a resident of Patterson, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Legacy of Morgan City, surrounded by her loving family.
Lola was born December 28, 1951, in Morgan City, the daughter of Lena Scully Mabile and Nolan Mabile.
Lola was a loving mother who always put her family first.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Stacy Henry and husband Chad, Rhonda Lodrigue Richards, son, Phillip Lodrigue Jr.; six grandchildren, Brennon Henry, Courtney Henry, Sgt. Tanner Richards, Kennedy Bellard, Baylee Dru Lodrigue, Alana Lodrigue Plaisance and husband Benjamin; two-great grandchildren, Kynlee Henry and Ariana Luna Plaisance; nephew, Johnny Hymel Sr. and wife Melinda; goddaughters, Sandy Lombas and Angela Daigle; niece, Tina Lodrigue; great-nephew, Johnny Hymel Jr. and wife Jenny.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Mabile and Lena Scully Mabile; husband, Phillip Lodrigue Sr.; brother, Hubert Hymel and wife Lily Mae; nephew, Hubert “Poncho” Hymel Jr.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Kathy Landry, Gail Lombas, Pam Morgan, Darlene Broussard, Dee Dee Acosta, Paulette Cortez, Trudy Barrilleaux, Catherine Aucoin, and Ethel Gugliotta for all their love and care to Lola and being a helping hand and rock to the family. And a special thanks to Dr. Francis Metz, staff of Legacy Nursing Home, Bayou Home Care and staff, and Bridgeway Hospice, for all their care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Lola will be cremated and laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
