Lola Blake Long, age 1, of Springfield, Missouri, entered safely into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
Lola was born on October 24, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri to Taylor and Courtney (Moran) Long. Lola was perfect. She was a figure of love, joy and all things beautiful. She was so deeply cherished by her family. She loved Bubble Guppies, crinkly water bottles, bath time and she loved to scream with her brothers while they ran through the house. She was always excited to be a part of Daddy/Brother wrestling time. She loved when Mommy and Daddy would sing her a lullaby, peek-a-boo with Daddy, and nursing on mommy all day long as mommy worked. It was a rare moment that Lola wasn't with mommy. Lola loved her nursery class at church. She was frequently told how precious she is by those who were lucky enough to rock her through service.
The light that Lola gave the world will forever be missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved the most.
Lola was preceded by her maternal great grandparents Debbie and Bill Essick and Frank Moran, paternal great grandmother Nelda Smith, and William and Donna Jo Strauss. She is survived by her parents Taylor and Courtney Long, big brothers Ashton Maddox Long and Addison Brady Long, maternal grandparents Lesa and Joel Moran, paternal grandparents Ronnie and Angela Long, maternal great grandmother Mary Moran, paternal great grandparents Benny and Brenda Long, aunt and uncle Megan and Joey Hadinger, uncle Mark Moran, uncle Trevor Long, and a host of extended family
and beloved friends.
A beautiful celebration of life for a beautiful baby girl will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Connect Church in Springfield. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Lola will be laid to rest at Spokane Cemetery next to her maternal great grandparents.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
