Lola Mae Dobson, age 86 of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 28, 2025. She was born April 12, 1938 in Akron, Ohio daughter of the late Carl and Orpha Dennison.
Lola at 86 left an impression on us, woven with Love, Laughter, and cherished memories. She was a sweet soul known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. Her fun loving nature drew people to her, and her beautiful smile could light up any room. But above all, Lola loved her family. Her greatest joy was gathering everyone together for big dinners, the table laden with food, and the air filled with chatter and warmth. Evenings often stretched into nights with playful competition, especially when cards were involved, a testament to her playful spirit and the deep bonds she nurtured. Her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but the love she shared will continue to resonate through generations.
In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Dobson; brothers, Edwin and Lee Dennison; sisters, Carlene Goheen and Josephine Wiseman; grandson, Justin Mullins.
She is survived by her children, Diana Gibson, Karen Paschal, Rita Mullins, Thomas "Tony" Hatfield, Laura (Bruce) Tims, Shelly (Willie) Hatfield, and Steven "Steve" (Lorena) Dobson; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Shirley McDonald; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
