To everything there is a season, a time to be born... Lola was born on July 18, 1927 in Mellwood, Arkansas to union of the late Vezettter and Grace Foote. She became the youngest child of three girls.
A time for faith... Lola was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was baptized at an early age and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She attended Carter Chapel A.M.E. Church until she and her family moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1956. She then attended Normal Park Baptist Church until her return to Helena, Arkansas where she rejoined Carter in 1977. Lola was a tireless church worker and served in many church groups. She moved to Bolingbrook, Illinois in 2009 to be close to her daughter and son and soon after joined Alpha Missionary Baptist Church.
A time to love... Lola met the love of her life, the late Isaac Whitaker and united in holy matrimony on October 20, 1946. To this union, a daughter and son was born.
