Lolita C. Pittman, 95, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home, with her son by her side, on October 17, 2025.
A devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Lolita lived a life guided by faith, love, generosity, and service. She was preceded in death by her mother, Corinne Castro, father, Jesus Castro, beloved husband, Joe Pittman, and her dear sister, Lola C. Melnik. She is survived by her son, Klebert Bergeron, Jr (Laurie).; her grandchildren Kristen, Klebert, III, (Kerisa), Stephanie (Angie), and Breaux; her great-grandchildren Kaiya, Breanne, Alana, and Ambellina; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Her family were her great pride and joy.
For 25 years, Lolita shared her knowledge and faith as a dedicated teacher at St. Cecilia's Catholic School, where she inspired generations of students with her warmth and kindness. She is fondly remembered by her students.
Her unwavering love for Jesus and her joyous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She embraced everyone she met as family. Lee will be remembered for her feisty personality and the joy she brought to everyone around her. There truly was never a dull moment in her presence. Our hearts hold countless beautiful memories of her laughter, love, and fun-loving spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2025, with location and time to be announced. The family invites friends and loved ones to reach out for updates at [email protected].
Lolita's legacy of faith, compassion, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
