Lon E Chadwick

Lon E. Chadwick passed away in Ogden, Utah on November 1, 2021, surrounded by his family following complications of Covid. He was born on April 8, 1958, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Edward Earl Chadwick and Elaine Steed Chadwick.
Lon married Kathleen Helms on February 21, 1981, in Ogden, Utah. They were happily married for over 40 years. Their life together overflowed with love and laughter.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lon worked at Interpace Brick for over thirty years. He was currently working at JBT Aerotech as a Material Handler.
Lon was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He was a Golden Glove Champion boxer. Lon enjoyed coaching little league football for his son, Clint, and continued to coach for years after Clint grew up. He trained his children in arm-wrestling and was proud to be an Arm-Wrestling Champion. He loved golfing and won several tournaments with his team. Above all, his family was the most important thing in his life. We love you Dad, you will be dearly missed.
Lon is survived by his soulmate, Kathy Chadwick, his step-son Michael Brockbank, his children, Angela (Patrick) Miller and Clint (Sheniece) Chadwick, his grandchildren, Tiberius, Aribeth and Anika Brockbank and Evin Miller. Also survived by his siblings Neal (Debbie) Chadwick, Trena (Brent) McCloy, Star Terry, twin brother Ron (Tammy) Chadwick, Skyla (Bret) Pace and LeeAnn (Kerry) Barker, sisters-in-law Stephanie Chadwick and Nancy Chadwick, mother-in-law Carol Helms, sister-in-law Patricia (Hector) Lopez, brother-in-law Michael (Jennifer) Helms, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lon was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Keefer Smith, sister Clarene Chadwick and brothers Charles Chadwick Sr. and Randy Chadwick Sr. Also preceded in death by his father-in-law William Helms and brother-in-law William Helms Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
