Lonnie Jack Woodbridge, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Arco, Idaho on July 29, 2025.
He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on November 16, 1957 to Jack Woodbridge and Norma Davis Woodbridge. He was welcomed by his two older sisters, Karen and Debbie. His parents divorced and his mother remarried and he gained two younger sisters, Carla and Donna.
His youth was growing up on the Big Bend, fishing the Lost River in his backyard and getting into mischief with his lifelong friend, Jerry Carpenter. The teen years were traveling from Arco to Kemmerer. In high school he excelled in football and basketball. In 1975 he was asked to be part of the Wyoming Shrine Bowl.
Lonnie married Billee Jean Mower on October 8, 1977 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. They lived in Blackfoot and Idaho Falls before finally settling in Arco where Lonnie felt most at home. They were blessed with three children; Danthanee, Kellen and Dalton; a daughter-in-law, Kande and two granddaughters Kazpyr and Kaylee.
Lonnie had various jobs, INL (he hated), City of Arco Maintenance Supervisor, V1 Propane, plumbing in Sun Valley & Butte County, but his favorite was those years farming with Doug Schureman.
He was a jack of all trades and one hell of a mechanic. His hobbies included bowling, shooting pool, playing darts, golfing, hunting, and steelhead fishing. He was a volunteer fireman for many years. Through work and hobbies, he has made so many lifelong friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Jack Woodbridge; his mother Norma McCracken; his sisters, Terry Lyn and Carla; his in-laws, Bill & Shirley Mower; his sister-in-law, Pam; his nephew, Mathew Pellerin and his sister-in-law, Christy Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Billee of almost 48 years; his children, Danthanee, Kellen, Kande, Dalton; his granddaughters, Kazpyr and Kaylee; his sisters, Karen Cook, Debbie (Dave) Welchert and Donna (Kyle) Kerstetter; his sister and brothers-in-law, Bobbee & Eric Rudy, John & Carol Mower, Larry Cook and too many lifelong friends to list.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butte High School Auditorium, 120 N. Water Street, Arco, ID. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
