Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Lora Jean Montjoy Emeneker, age 90, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, August 28, 2025. Ms. Emeneker was born in Laurens, South Carolina the daughter of the late William Montjoy and the late Frances Switzer Montjoy.

Ms. Emeneker worked in bank management with Wells Fargo. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Loganville, GA.

Survivors include sons, Ron Emeneker (Melissa) of Jefferson, GA and Michael Emeneker (Andrea) of Monroe, GA. Sister, Lee Kennedy of Lawrenceville, GA. Grandchildren, Adam, Abby, Kelsey, Brooke and great grandchildren, Levi and Rawlins.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church 3156 Langley Road SW, Loganville, GA 30052 with Reverend Tommy Foskey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 3 P.M. at Corinth Baptist Church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Waldens Cove Personal Care Home 1442 Johnson Mill Road Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
