Lora Lynn Ford, aged 67, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 in Clovis, California after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born to Doris Ford (née Buffham) on July 5, 1957 in Torrance, California and was the 3rd youngest of her 10 siblings.
She attended DeWolf High School in Fresno, California and graduated with the class of 1976. During her young adult years, she worked as a waitress and in 1979, she married her former husband, Lawrence Fioretti. Together, they raised their two daughters at their home in Bristol, Connecticut where Lora was a stay-at-home mom. When she moved back to California, Lora worked for the Fresno Unified School District as a dedicated school cafeteria worker and was employed with them for about 30 years until her retirement in 2024.
Although she could be stubborn, she was a thoughtful and generous person. Always thinking of others before herself, she made sure that her loved ones were safe, secure, and comfortable. She was a loving mother, an affectionate and beloved grandmother, a wonderful fun-loving sister, and a witty friend to those who knew her.
She is survived by her two daughters: Wendy Fioretti-Doak and Amy Sepulveda, her four grandchildren: Christian, Victor, Anabelle, and Joaquin, her sisters: Shirley, Carol, Elaine, and her brother Ronald, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, her brother Fred, and sisters: Doris Lee, Janet, Jane, and Beverly.
Lora will always be remembered as a beloved mother and sister, grandmother, and friend.

I didn't personally know Lora. She was my sons (Adam) mother in law. The little I interacted with her she was very nice to me. My son and I went to take her some food a few weeks before she passed away, and she kept thanking me for my son helping her. Taking her to como treatments on Wednesday up and back getting blood work on Mondays. My son will miss her the most.
