Loreen Ott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waite Funeral Home Medina on Dec. 15, 2025.
Loreen "Pat" Ott, 84, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on December 14, 2025.

Pat was born on January 7, 1941, in Poland, Ohio, to Ruth and Myron Zornow. She graduated from Berea High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in education from Baldwin Wallace College, where she met the love of her life, her husband, Ken (Kenneth). They shared 53 wonderful years together with their family and many beloved pets.

Pat began her career as a teacher before continuing her work with the family business, BROT. She loved spending her summers at Chautauqua Lake for the past 63 years with four generations of her family, where she meticulously maintained her window boxes filled with her trademark red geraniums. A lifelong learner, Pat delighted in sharing books and news clippings with everyone who visited her home. Throughout her later years, she inspired all who knew her with her strength and resilience as she battled many health conditions while remaining the "rock" of her family.

She will always be remembered as intelligent, quick-witted, strong-willed, and compassionate. Pat's family was her greatest love, and she will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Leslie (Stephen) Conder, Robert (Lisa) Ott, and Rick (Barb) Ott; and her grandchildren, Brooke, Samantha, and Brad Ott, and Matthew and Charlotte Conder.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court Street, Medina, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284, The Lawson Center, PO Box 10, Bemus Point, NY 14712, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
