Lorelle Maria Edwards passed away suddenly on April 30th in Saratoga. She was born on January 21, 1975 in San Jose. Lorelle graduated from Monta Vista High School and San Jose State. She taught at Laurelwood Elementary School in Santa Clara for 23 years. She was an excellent teacher who made a real difference in the lives of many students. Her former students would visit her with their families. She will be missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
Lorelle was the loving daughter of the late John Edwards and Lynn Edwards. She was a loving and caring sister to her brother, Dale Edwards. She is also survived by her uncles, Del Baluta (Tama), and William Edwards (Joyce); and her cousins, Marni Baluta (Matthew Pudliner), Meaghan Baluta, and Ryan Baluta.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 with a visitation at 12pm and Funeral Mass at 1pm at Church of the Ascension, 12033 Miller Ave, Saratoga. Interment will follow at Madronia Cemetery in Saratoga. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Lorelle's memory to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation.
