Age 92 of Wexford, PA died on Sunday 5-18-25 at the Province of Wexford Senior Living. She was born in Pittsburgh on 8-29-32 daughter of the late Leo P and Irene E Kremer. Lorene was a graduate of Robert Morris University and worked for Dr. Bernard I Cohen, Plastic Surgeon. She was an outstanding bridge player all her life, volunteered at Passavant Hospital, Carnegie Museum on the Move and Christ Child Society of Pittsburgh. As an avid traveler, she had been to several places in the United Kingdom, throughout the United States and the Bahamas, enjoyed many family beach vacations, and traveled with family and friends. Rene enjoyed playing golf with her husband and many lady friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
Lorene was a beloved wife of 53 years to the late David J Westhead. She was a loving mother survived by her children David P. (Veronica) of Mt Lebanon, Valerie Tonner of Cranberry Township and Gregory J (Pat) of Cranberry Township, sisters Marilyn Veverka, Dorothy Lucas, and Sylvia Dropanotis. Also, survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday, May 27th 2-4, 6-8PM at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Rd. Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, 724-772-8800, Mass of Christian Burial at St Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd., Cranberry Township, PA 16066, Wednesday May 28th at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
