Lorene Kay "Lori" Wilkins

Lori Kay Wilkins, 58, of Cabot passed away on July 16, 2024. Born on June 29, 1966, Lori was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her vivacious spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Lori is preceded in death by her father Henry Lewis Carswell, her sister Vera Brace, and her son Michael Polston.
She is survived by her husband Steve Wilkins; mother Betty Emerson; her sisters Vonnie Gilboy (Jim) and Donna Jackson; her brother Daniel Carswell (Ashley); her children Christopher Polston, Amber Rodriguez (Felipe), and Steven Polston (Carrie); her bonus children Mitch Wilkins and Janna Wilkins; and her grandchildren Adrian Rodriguez, Christian Gurrola, Alysson Rodríguez, Analina Gurrola, Noah Rodríguez, Natalie Rodríguez, Ryker Polston, Genesis Rodriguez, and Alexandria Polston.
Lori's love extended to her furry companions, Peanut, Duke, Daisy, Chloe, and Piper, who were an integral part of her family.
Professionally, Lori worked as an office assistant in both real estate and medical fields, and she also worked at Knight's Grocery. Her dedication and hard work were admired by her colleagues and friends.
A true Georgia girl at heart, Lori embraced life with a passion and lived it to the fullest. Her vibrant personality, loving spirit, and contagious laughter touched the lives of all who knew her.
A celebration of Lori's life will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Old Austin United Methodist Church, 23 Ray Sowell Rd, Austin, AR 72007. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society in Lori's memory.
