Our beloved brother, Lorenz (AKA Larry) Pasquale Schreier, passed away in his sleep at his Seattle home on February 28, 2025. While he had been bravely battling a long illness, his passing was sudden and unexpected.
Born Laurence Patrick Schreier to Angela Marie (Vacca) and John Laurence Schreier on March 24, 1968, he was the fifth of five children.
He is survived by his favorite sister Sherrie Plymale, his favorite sister Susan Johnson (Dennis), and his favorite sister Janis West, his twin brother and best friend John Schreier (Suzanne), nieces Deana Plymale and Jenna West, nephews Christopher Plymale, Reno Shook, and Shane Shook, great niece Ava Plymale and great-nephews Dean Plymale and Go Shook, as well as close first cousins Paul(ie) and Donald Alishio, Ann Vacura and his Aunt Patsy Alishio, among other caring extended cousins and friends.
Lorenz was a spiritual man with great loyalty to family. He had special interest and intelligence, and even brilliance, in subjects of theology, history, mathematics, and economics. His entrepreneurial drive and business acumen led him to co-found with his brother, John, the now 32-year running company, Junk Boys, Inc.
Lorenz will be missed and remembered for many things, but mostly for his incredible strength, courage and perseverance and his ultimate sweetness, passion and love. We love you forever, dear brother, uncle, cousin, friend!
Memorial and celebration of life will be held at the Mt. Baker Community Club, 2811 Mt. Rainier Dr. S, Seattle, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Remembrances may be made as donations to UW Medicine Kidney Clinic at Harborview.
