It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorenzo Solis, who left this world at the age of 68 on January 6th, 2024, in Odessa, Texas. A beloved soul, Lorenzo was born in Ciudad, Juarez, Mexico, on September 27, 1955, and lived a life rich in love and faith.
Lorenzo, a dedicated husband, was united in marriage to Maria Teresa Solis on October 26, 1974. Together, they built a family foundation of unconditional love and support. Professionally, Lorenzo excelled as a heavy equipment diesel technician, a career that showcased his skill, passion, and work ethic, taking him as far as South America.
His life was one of devotion—not just to his work but to his family. Lorenzo was a beloved father to Lorenzo Arturo, Laura, Daniela, and Mary. His love and steadfastness will forever be treasured by his children. As a brother, he shared an unbreakable bond with Hilda, Jorge, Mario and Alfredo. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, leaving lasting memories with grandchildren Alycia, Alayna, Marina, Cristian, Estevan, Dante, Gabriel, Diezel, Zachary, Sophia and Victoria.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Concepcion Solis; and brothers, Mario and Alfredo Solis, Lorenzo's legacy is one of grit and strength.
We invite friends and family to join us in celebrating Lorenzo's life. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, January 12th, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with Reverend Joseph Uecker officiating.

Lorenzo's journey on earth may have ended, but his spirit and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
