Manville, NJ- Loretta Ann (nee Whitenight) Bellas, 74, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in Hazleton, PA, daughter of the late Paul and Frances (nee Blackwood) Whitenight, she had lived in Texas for a short period of time in her youth, spent most of her life in Manville, and also lived in Bridgewater, NJ before settling back to Manville.
Loretta enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Manville High School, Class of 1964. Loretta had worked at Hoechst in Bridgewater as a supervisor of quality control and worked at Catalent in Somerset, NJ as a quality control auditor prior to retirement.
Beside her parents, Loretta is predeceased by a sister, Paulette Whitenight in 2003; and her beloved canine friend, Lucy.
Loretta leaves behind two loving daughters, Lisa and her husband Giovanni Antonelli and Lynn Zgrajewicz both of Manville. She will be deeply missed by her dear brother, Ira and his wife Gayle Whitenight; caring ex-husband, Tom Bellas; and five cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Sofia, Paul, Christian, and Lucas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, November 20 from 4-6 p.m. and on Saturday, November 21 from 9-9:30 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m with Rev. Ron Pollock officiating followed by committal words and interment at New Cemetery in Somerville, NJ.
Please note due to Executive Orders set by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy the funeral home is only allowed to have 45 people in the building at one time. You must come with your own face covering and maintain 6 feet social distancing. Additionally, Loretta's family understands your wishes if you do not attend due to the pandemic.
