Loretta Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Carmel on Jan. 26, 2026.
Loretta Brown, a cherished matriarch and beacon of love in her community, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 15, 1936, to the late Joseph and Mary (Ducsai) Juhase, Loretta's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of family bonds.

Loretta's journey began as the beloved daughter of Joseph and Mary, and from an early age, she exhibited the qualities of love and generosity that would define her entire life. Her heart knew no bounds, and her hands were never too full to offer help or a warm embrace. In her youth, Loretta's thoughtful nature shone brightly, and those who knew her were certain she was destined to leave an indelible mark on the world.

The love story of Loretta and her late husband Thomas was one for the ages, filled with shared dreams and mutual respect. Together, they built a life centered around their family, welcoming their sons Allen and Robert, and their daughter Lorraine. Although Thomas passed away in 2007, and her beloved son Allen in 2014, the legacy they created continued to flourish through Loretta's unwavering spirit.

Loretta's life was further enriched by her cherished son Robert and his wife Debra, and her devoted daughter Lorraine and her husband Michael. She was a guiding light in their lives, imparting wisdom and nurturing them with her boundless love. Her role as a grandmother to Madeline, Justin, and his wife Ashley, was one of her greatest joys. The birth of her great-grandchild, Amelia, brought a new sparkle to Loretta's eyes, and she embraced this new chapter with the same love and enthusiasm that she had for all her family.

Loretta's interests were simple yet profound; she found her greatest pleasure in taking care of her family. Her home was always a welcoming haven, filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the sounds of laughter. She had a gift for making everyone feel special and loved, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy.

Those who were fortunate enough to have known Loretta will remember her as the epitome of a loving, generous, and thoughtful soul. Her unwavering dedication to her family and her ability to see the good in others were her most remarkable traits. Loretta's legacy will live on through the lives she touched, the family she adored, and the countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

As we bid farewell to Loretta Brown, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that gave so freely. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the power of love and the importance of family. Loretta's memory will be forever held in the hearts of her loved ones, a treasured and everlasting presence.
