On October 18, 2023, the world lost a remarkable soul. Loretta Ann De La Rosa, born on January 25, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois, was the beloved daughter of Valentine De La Rosa and Mary Ann Crox Layfield.
Loretta spent the last 13 years of her life working as home health nurse. She cherished each moment of her life. She found joy in the exhilaration of riding motorcycles, the artistry of cooking delicious meals, and the freedom of singing karaoke with her friends. However, above all else, she treasured the time spent with her cherished family and friends.
Loretta Ann De La Rosa departed this life on October 18, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 45 years, 8 months, and 23 days.
She is survived by her son, Joseph De La Rosa (Lacy) of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Cheyann Beckham and Jasmyn Beckham, both of Crump, Tennessee; mother, Mary Ann Crox Layfield of Crump, Tennessee; father, Valentine De La Rosa of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Grady Layfield (Renee) of Nashville, Tennessee, Joe Silva of Crump, Tennessee, Jesse De La Rosa of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeffrey Banks (Samantha Harris) of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; sisters, Barbara Jean De La Rosa of Fort Worth, Texas and Fallon Fondren of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Hope De La Rosa and Kaitlyn Wright; and special niece, Madasyn Banks of Crump, Tennessee.
