Loretta Kapa, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on March 10, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Loretta's life was marked by warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family. She offered guidance and support to all who knew her. Loretta's nurturing spirit was evident in her role as a mother to her five children, Lynn Bilski, Donna (Tim) Stein, David (Cheryl) Kapa, Karol (the late Stanley) Pasden, and Paul Kapa. She poured her heart into shaping their lives, instilling in them values of kindness, resilience, and perseverance. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, embracing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with open arms. Loretta took immense pride in her role as a grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of twelve, finding joy in every moment spent with them. Loretta is also survived by her dear sister, Lillian (the late Robert) Mayhew. She was also a long time parishioner at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Throughout her life, Loretta's kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her selflessness, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. Though she may no longer walk among us, Loretta's love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she held dear. May her soul find peace and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. A visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. (3Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, on Sunday (March 17th) from 3pm to 8pm. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 44429 Utica Rd, Utica, on Monday (March 18th). She will lie instate at 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10am.
