Loretta Nowak, 83 of Royal Center left her Earthly body behind on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Loretta was born in Tennessee on October 11, 1941 to James and Ina (Mullins) Richardson.
She was a 1959 Francesville High School graduate.
Loretta was a retired CNA.
She was an avid seamstress and made many beautiful quilts for loved ones throughout the years. Loretta enjoyed gardening in her younger years and has canned far too many handpicked fruits and vegetables to count!
Loretta leaves behind 3 daughters: Bert (Tony) Bozarth of Central City, Kentucky; Nancy (David) Luchene of Portage, Indiana; Jacquie (Jim) Wethington of Royal Center, Indiana. Also left to mourn are grandsons Austin (Natasha Fessler) Wethington Logansport, Indiana and Devin (Dalynne Smith) Wethington Lucerne, Indiana. Surviving siblings include Glenn Richardson Michigan City Indiana, Bonnie James Burbank Illinois, Stella (Tom) Craig Eustis, Florida, Sue (Bill) Abegglen Homasassas, Florida, Larry Richardson Tazewell Tennessee. “Aunt Lo” leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Fred Richardson and George Richardson.
Per Loretta’s wishes, there will be no services.
The family would like to thank Chase Center and Heart to Heart Hospice for the care and support they have shown.
