Loretta Jean O'Shea, 71, of Brewerton, passed away unexpectedly, with her sister by her side on Thursday, July 17, 2025, down in Miami, FL.

Born September 5, 1953, to the late Elmer and Beulah (Peters) Jantzi.

Loretta graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1971 and then went on to attend Cayuga Community College, where she became a Registered Nurse. She worked at Oswego Health for many years.

Some of her enjoyments in life were playing BINGO at the Turning Stone, as well as camping with family. Loretta enjoyed playing games on her Kindle. You could regularly see her working on a new crochet or knitting project. Peanut and Cuddles, her dogs, will be taken care of and loved by her daughter, Michelle.

In addition to her parents, Loretta is predeceased by her first husband, Gary Piersall; brothers, John Jantzi and Elmer "Junior" Jantzi; and sisters, Judy Thomas, Ellen Brooks, and Barbara Mayne.

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Joseph) Charette, Charlene O'Shea, and Jeremy O'Shea; grandchildren, Tyler C. Coffie and Maleigha J. Coffie; siblings, Rita Bergquist, Dorothy Presley, Jerry Jantzi, and Richard Jantzi; second husband, Darrell "Rick" O'Shea; along with several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Loretta's wishes were to not have any services. A burial will be held in Camden, NY at Forest Lawn Cemetery, where her remains will be laid to rest next to her first husband Gary Piersall.
