Loretta Eudaley Schwerdt (nee Eudaley), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Carroll W. Schwerdt; devoted mother of Carroll (Cindy) Schwerdt, Jr., Bradley (Maggie) Schwerdt, Ginger (Dale) Kluesner, Bruce (Janet) Schwerdt, Jeffery Schwerdt, and Craig (Melissa) Schwerdt; loving grandmother of 19; treasured great-grandmother of 10. Preceded in death by her son, Rex Schwerdt; brother, Thomas Eudaley; granddaughter Alana Ingersoll.
Loretta adored her family; most Sundays, she and Carroll hosted family and friends for amazing meals at the farm. She took pleasure in playing cards and had a deep passion for golf. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching and taking photos of the birds. In her professional career as a chemist, she also earned a well-deserved patent at Krey Packing. Loretta's warm presence and love will be profoundly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Memorials may be made in Loretta's name to American Legion Post 313 or St. Vincent De Paul Society.
