Loretta Gray Seay, age 94, formerly of Trenton, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at The Regional Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY, of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Trenton with burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Visitation will be that morning at the church from 10:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Loretta was born in Clarksville, TN, on May 31, 1931, to the late Geroge Franklin and Mary Belle Hettenhouse Gray. She was a homemaker and loved her Lord and was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed serving her church community and had a lifelong interest in politics. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lauren Douglas Seay; her two sons, Ronald Douglas Seay and Danny Ray Seay; her two brothers, Herman Duncan Gray and George Gray; and a sister, Shirley Ruth Gray.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Elaine Paddy of Guthrie, KY; grandchildren, Sandy (Tony) Martin, Doug (Sharon) Seay, Thomas Ray (Racquel) Paddy, Lauren (Sherrie) Paddy, and Curtis (Brandi) Paddy; her ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to National Scleroderma Foundation P. O. Box 411533 Boston, MA 02241.
