Loretta Smith Obituary
Loretta Smith, 88, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. Visitation will be from 9 am until 11 am, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Loretta is survived by her children, Wanda LeBlanc, Lonnie Boudreaux (Scott), Rhody Smith, Dwayne Smith, Heidi Smith (companion Bryan) and Lila LaCoste (Adam Troy); 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and sister, Catherine Hunter (Charles).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Smith Jr.; son, Donny Smith; parents, Ernest Sr. and Jane LeBlanc Comeaux; brother, Ernest Comeaux Jr.; son-in-law, Eric LeBlanc and Joyce Champagne.
