Loretta Stewart Obituary

Loretta attended First Christian Church in Shelbyville. She owned and operated Loretta's Beauty Shop in Shelbyville for over 20 years. She also worked as a clerk at the Shelby County Circuit Clerks office. She loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James G. King, Jr. and her son, Gary King.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Colin Stewart of Shelbyville, her daughters, Lisa Sams (Tim) of Shelbyville, Ann Wainscott (Bill) of Carrollton, Troy Scott Stewart (Beverly) of Missouri, her grandchildren, Renee Sams, Margaux Sams, Matthew Sams, her great granddaughter, Allison Fox, her 2 brothers, James G. Clark, Jr. (Mary) of Shelbyville, Mike Clark (Sherry) of Shelbyville, her nephew, Bland Clark and niece, Makaila Fields.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children, 520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
