Loretta Lynn "Sister" Wallace, 66, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Life Skills Industries and former in home caregiver through Golden Gate. She was the daughter of the late Charles William Carter, Sr. and Wandalene Moody Carter.

She is survived by her husband: Wayne Wallace, Scottsville, KY;

2 daughters: Jessica Shockley, Alvaton, KY and Jenna Birge, Scottsville, KY;

3 step sons: Cecil Wayne Wallace, Jr. (Jessica); Jarod Wallace (Katie) and Adam Wallace, all of Glasgow, KY;

4 step daughters: Niki McCubbins (Sean), Cecelia, KY; Misty Holloway (Danny) and Stephanie Stephenson, all of Glasgow, KY; Amanda Zook (Enos), Scottsville, KY;

1 brother: David Aaron Carter (Amanda), Scottsville, KY;

2 sisters-in-law: Vickie Carter and Becky Carter, both of Scottsville, KY;

3 grandchildren: Slade Birge, Zane Shockley and Zada Shockley;

17 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Charles William Carter, Jr. and Tim Carter.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Richey and Bro. Neal Jeffries officiating and burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
