Lori Ann Combs, born August 12, 1965 in Pennsylvania to the union of Nancy Combs and the late Ed Combs.  Lori was a long-time teacher's aid at the Hyden Elementary School.  She was a loving homemaker and provided home care for the elderly.

Reading brought peace to Lori, as well as being a beloved animal lover, especially cats.  Above all, Lori cherished her family, her nieces and nephews, and the time she was able to spend with them. 

Lori departed this life at her home on October 21, 2024 at the age of 59.

Survivors include her beloved mother, Nancy Combs of Hyden, KY; three beloved brothers Larry Combs (Karen) of London, KY, Paul Combs (Rhonda) of Hyden, KY and Chucky Combs (Stephanie) of Hyden, KY.  Her cherished nieces and nephews Michelle Evans, Brandon Combs, Brittany Combs, Cody Combs, Dylan Combs and Jessa Combs; her great nieces and nephews David, Zoey, Peyton, Hayden, and Charlie "Chucky".

A host of other relatives and friends also survive.   

The funeral service to commemorate the life of Lori will be held at 2p.m. - Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home. 

Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery at Hyden, KY with Brandon Combs, David Combs, Cody Combs, Steven Ray Caldwell, Donnie Asher, Jonathon Asher and Chuck Combs serving as pallbearers.  

The Combs family will receive friends 12 Noon until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the chapel.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
