Sandra Lynn Nantz Stidham, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on January 2, 1965, in Leslie County, Kentucky, she lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service. She was born to the union of the late Julis Nantz and the late Effie Sullivan Nantz.
Sandra's journey through life was defined by her commitment to her family and her work. She devoted many years to the custodial industry, culminating in her retirement, lastly from the Leslie County Board of Education.
A proud 1983 graduate of Leslie County High School, Sandra took great pride in her educational accomplishments. She united in marriage to her devoted husband, David Stidham, on July 7, 2007, in Hyden, Kentucky. Their bond was one of mutual respect and affection, and they shared many joyful moments together.
Sandra was not only a beloved homemaker but also found joy in her earlier years through sewing, a hobby that brought her personal joy.
She leaves behind a loving and devoted husband, David Stidham, and her beloved brother, Valdis Nantz of Helton, KY. In addition, a host of other friends and family members are left behind to cherish her memory.
Sandra is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Julis and Effie Sullivan Nantz, and one brother, Randolph Nantz.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on November 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Nantz Cemetery, located on Sims Branch Road in Mozelle, Kentucky with Rev. Teddy Brock officiating. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
Interment will follow the services.
