In Loving Memory of

 Clemmie Joseph

August 31, 1941 – October 14, 2025

Clemmie Joseph, age 84, of Bledsoe, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, October 14, 2025 with his family by his side. Born on August 31, 1941, Clemmie was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor, and friend to many.

Clemmie was the devoted son of the late Willie and Matilda Griffith Joseph. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Mallie Ann Mitchell Joseph, the mother of his children; his former wife, Frances Joseph; one great-granddaughter, Ariel Faith Napier; four brothers – Arthur, Richmond, Charlie, and Dennis; five sisters – Becky, Clercie, Kizzie, Pauline, and Martha; and two nephews – Willie and Elvis.

A man of deep faith, Clemmie served as the pastor and a faithful member of Big Fork Church of God for 38 years. His life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the Lord, his family, and his community.

Before retiring due to a back injury, Clemmie spent many years working in the coal mines, tirelessly providing for his loved ones. Known for his strong work ethic and humble spirit, he found joy in the simple things – tinkering with lawnmowers and weed eaters, sharing stories, and spending cherished time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Clemmie met the love of his life, Mallie Mitchell, and they were united in marriage on May 11, 1963. Together they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family.

He is survived by his loving children: Son, Micheal and his wife Pamela Joseph of Bledsoe, Kentucky; Daughter, Tilda and her husband Billy Roberts of Yeaddiss, Kentucky; His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him endless pride and joy: Grandsons, Brayden Joseph of Bledsoe, Kentucky, and Billy (Courtney) Roberts of London, Kentucky; Granddaughter Miranda Napier (Allen) of Bledsoe, Kentucky; Great-grandchildren, Joshua Farmer, Arabella Napier, and Emberly Roberts; Clemmie also leaves behind 11 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, and 26 great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. He held a special place in his heart for his close friends Billy Ray Lewis, Larry Smith, Isaac Hollins, Glenda Hollins, and Austin Couch.

The funeral service for Clemmie Joseph will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, 19th, 2025 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with his grandson, Billy Roberts, and Roger Wolfe officiating. Reading of the obituary by Isaac Hollins.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 6p.m. until 9p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home chapel.

Clemmie will be laid to rest following the service in the Lee Joseph Cemetery in Yeaddiss, Kentucky, with Brayden Joseph, Billy Roberts, Allen Napier, James Allen Williams, Austin Couch, and Christopher Fields serving as pallbearers.  Clemmie's legacy of faith, love, and quiet strength will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:23
