Marvin "Memory Maker" Brock

Marvin "Memory Maker" Brock, 78 of Helton, passed away on March 3, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard with his family by his side. He was born to the late Theo and Stella Short Brock on March 5, 1946. He was a US Army Veteran, Truck Driver, member of the Bledsoe Fire Department, Ham Radio operator and believed in the holiness faith.

Mr. Brock is preceded in death by his Parents; Former Wife, Della Brock; Siblings, Lucy Belcher, Della Dixon and Don Brock. 

Marvin is survived by his loving Wife, Margie Brock; Son, Marvin Dewayne Brock and Wife Dawn; Step Children, Geneva Cantor and Husband Chris, Bobbie Farler and Wife Amanda and Richard Farler and Wife Claudette; Brother, Charles Brock and Wife Lisa; Sister in Law, Myrtice Brock; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends will also mourn his passing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5PM until 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1PM also in the Chapel with Denver Brock officiating. Burial will follow at the Honey Branch Cemetery with Richard Farler, Dylan Farler, Charles Brock, Ricky Belcher, Paul Hurt and Derek McCarty serving as pallbearers.
